The Orphanages
Annette Lewis Ministries has a heart for orphans. We even support overseas orphans. There is an orphanage located in Kyrgyzstan, a communist country governed by Russia, that we currently support and one in Milimani, Kenya.

It is a Christian orphanage supported by us but also by Andrew Wommack Ministries.

Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are essential times we meet this orphanage's needs. Here you can see the children receiving presents that they probably would never get otherwise.
We are mindful of the fact that the region is dominated by Sunni Muslim and the poverty rate is quite high.
There are twenty-one children and four house parents. The ages of the children range from 3 to 20 years of age.

Often due to the cost, sweets are hard to obtain in Kyrgyzstan so during our shipments we always include these. Christmas gifts are given yearly to each child.
Some good news concerning the orphanage is that we found a home large enough to house all the children and family. Also, we are excited to report that we have finally got indoor plumbing completed with six bathrooms to accomodate the family. This is especially helpful in the winter where it is extremely cold!

One of our children is the little boy, Gift. He was found alongside the rode as the equipment was being brought in to dig the well. The mother abandoned him and said she could no longer care for him for lack of resources. We named him Gift.

We need donations for the building of a new home for the children and the church. During this time of building the well, the rebels came and burned down the Pastor's home, raped her daughter and they have been sleeping in tents.
